Gokyo- Chola Pass- EBC Trek or Everest Circuit Trekking is the adventurous trekking in the heart of Everest Region. This trek aptly blends 3 amazing natural bounties of the Everest region in just 18days.
The trail prolongs through several highland villages of Sherpa and Gurung ethnics where you will be greeted by amiable natives with a broad smile. This trek provides you with the wonderful opportunity to closely observe the ancient traditions and heritages along with exciting climbing of high passes.
Adventure Glacier is offering Chola pass itinerary at 18days. The package begins with 35minutes of scenic flight to Tenzing- Hilary Airport at Lukla from where we will walk along Dudhkoshi River to Phakding. We will arrive at the Gateway of Everest Khumbu Region, Namche Bazaar which is also the important trade centre of the region. Gokyo Chola Pass EBC Trek route continues further to villages of Dole and Machhermo which takes us to Gokyo Valley. We will ascend the Gokyo Ri Peak and have spectacular views of Mount Everest, Lhotse, Cho Oyu, Nuptse, Pumori, Amadablam, Thamserku, Kantega, Kusum, Cholatse and other mountains including the Ngozumpa Glacier which is the largest glacier system that exists in Nepal. From Gokyo, we will move through Dzongla to Chola pass. We will have the epic views of mountains and surrounding terrains before moving forward through Dingboche and Lobuche to Everest Base Camp. We will be enjoying the sunrise view on Mount Everest from Kalapatthar before returning back to Lukla.

Day01: Arrival in Kathmandu:
Upon arrival, you will be picked up by our representative at the Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu and then taken through the busy streets to hotel. You will receive briefing regarding your Everest Trekking after which you will have welcome dinner and then stay overnight.
Day02: Flight to Lukla (2810m) Trek to Phakding (2652m):
After early breakfast, we will drive to Domestic Airport of Kathmandu and take 35minutes of flight to Lukla. You will be rewarded with views of several snow- clad peaks throughout your flight, Gaurishankar, Langtang, Lhotse and Nuptse are among some of the mountains that you can get the close up view. As soon as you disembark at Tenzing- Hillary Airport of Lukla, you will walk along the left bank of Dudh Koshi River and pass through few tea houses and Mani Walls to arrive at Phakding where we will stay overnight.
Day03: Trek to Namche Bazaar (3446m):
Leaving Phakding, we will follow the escalating trail to Jhorsalle and continue our journey through forest of blooming rhododendrons and other alpine flowers to dispersed villages of Benkar and Monjo. Enroute, we will enjoy the views of Kusum Kanggru (6369m), Thamserku (6608m), Everest (8,848 m) and Nuptse (7879 m) mountains. The trail stretches upward to Namche Bazaar (3446m) where we will stay overnight.
Day04: Acclimatization Day at Namche Bazaar:
We will spend 4th day of our Everest Base Camp Trek at Namche Bazaar. It will help our body to acclimatize with the increasing altitude. We can either visit the bustling market area of Namche Bazaar or take a side trip to nearby villages of Khumjung, Khunde or Thame.
Day05: Trek to Tengboche (3867m):
Trail on 5th day passes through the woods where we can have opportunity to observe Himalayan wildlife like musk deer. Following the trail for 5hrs through Kayangjuma and Sansa, we will arrive at Phuki Thengna which later takes us to the beautiful Tengboche village. Kwongde (6187m), Tawache (6542 m), Everest (8,848 m), Nuptse (7855m), Lhotse (8618m), Amadablam (6856m) and Thamserku (6608m) are the peaks that we can view from Tengboche. We will also visit Tengboche Monastery which is the largest in entire Khumbu region.
Day06: Trek to Dingboche (4260m):
We will take the hurried meal and set out from Tengboche village and choose the path that leads us to Pheriche. Taking brief rest at Pheriche, we will lower down to Lobuche River. Continuing our journey through the escalating trail that begins from the edge of the river, we will arrive at Dingboche where we will stay overnight.
Day07: Acclimatization Day at Dingboche:
We will take rest from our Gokyo- Chola Pass- EBC Trek on 7th day. We will take the side trip to a ridge from where we can have the spectacular views of Makalu, Lhotse, Cho Oyu, Lobuche, Cholatse and Imja Valley. We will stay overnight at Dingboche.
Day08: Trek to Lobuche:
The trail progresses uphill from Khumbu Khola Valley and passes through Dusa and Phulung Karpo all the way down to river. After crossing the bridge, we will arrive at Dughla from where we will take the ascent to Chupki Lhara. We will then lower down to Khumbu Glacier that takes us to Gorakshep. Lobuche is located 5km far from Gorakshep.
Day09: Trek to Everest Base Camp via Gorakshep Back to Gorakshep:
We will leave Khumbu Glacier and take the uphill trek through the route that offers us with the beautiful views of Pumori, Khumutse and Nuptse mountains. The path stretches to Thangma Riju from where we will move to Changri Glacier. The glacier gives us the first view of Kala Patthar. We will reach to Everest Base Camp and observe gratifying views of Nuptse, Khumbutse and Pumori Mountains. We will then return to Gorakshep.
Day10: Trek to Kalapatthar Trek to Dzongla:
After lunch at Gorakshep, we will descend to Lobuche and arrive at river bed. After we cross the river, we will ascend the ridge from where we will enjoy the scenic views of Ama Dablam and Thamserku Mountains. The trail prolongs to Cholatse Lake. Walking along the lake, we will follow the steep trail to a bridge. After crossing the bridge, we will arrive at Dzongla.
Day11: Trek to Thaknak via Cho-La Pass:
Leaving Dzongla early in the morning, we will continue our journey towards the foothill of Cho- La. We will climb the high pass of Cho- La to reach to Thaknak. We will enjoy the scenic views of several peaks and valleys from Cho- La Pass and then follow the zigzag trail to Thaknak where we will stay overnight.
Day12: Trek to Gokyo:
The trail progresses through Nazgumpa Glacier that is the longest glacier system of Nepal. We will follow the rock strewn path that is made slippery with melting snow. 6hrs of walk will take us to enchanting Gokyo valley. Gokyo Valley is blessed with 6frozen lakes and soaring Gokyo Ri Mountain. Gokyo Ri Mountain is one of the finest view point in Everest Region.
Day13: Trek to Gokyo Ri Trek to Machhermo:
3 hours of ascent will take us to the top of Gokyo Ri. We will have gratifying views of Mount Everest, Cho Oyu and Lhotse mountains and beautiful fifth lake after which we will lower down to Machhermo. We will stay overnight at Machhermo.
Day14: Trek to Namche Bazaar:
We will visit the Monastery at Machhermo that claims to hold the skull of mythical creature- Yeti. We will pass the juniper woods and make our way through small villages at Dole, Phortse Thanga and Shanasa to arrive at Namche Bazaar.
Day15: Trek to Lukla:
We will take a flight back to Kathmandu only the next day. So, we will spend the night in lodge at Lukla. We will take the easy walk from Namche Bazaar and return back to Lukla through Phakding. We will have the close up view of Kusum Kangaru peak on the way.
Day16: Flight to Kathmandu:
We will take the 30-minutes of pleasant flight that takes us high above mountains to shift us back to domestic airport in Kathmandu. After we arrive at the airport, we will drive back to our hotel where dinner will be served and we will celebrate the successful ‘Gokyo Chola Pass EBC Trek’.
Day17: Free Day in Kathmandu:
This is a leisure day. You can visit the freak streets of Thamel and buy souvenirs to your dear ones. Evening is best for taking rickshaw ride around Thamel.
Thrilling 18days ‘Gokyo Chola Pass EBCTrek’ will meet its end on 18th day. You will be assisted in the last moment preparation and then you will be dropped at Tribhuvan International Airport from where you will catch a flight to your next destination.
