Kanchenjunga Mountain stands tall at 8586 meters making Kanchenjunga the third tallest Mountain in the world. Kanchanjunga Trek route proceeds through the remote lands of northeastern Nepal. It shares its border with Sikkim. Kanchanjungha Trek is the adventurous trek that encompasses almost all natural souvenirs of Nepal. The mixed thrills that we can enjoy by joining Kanchanjungha Trek includes crossing rivers, passing through dense woods of blooming rhododendrons with opportunity to view Himalayan wildlife, walking along the highland villages and closely observing the rich culture and ways of living and stepping to the foothill of Kanchanjungha Base camp.
Adventure Glacier is operating 24-days Kanchanjunga package that begins with 35minutes flight to Biratnagar. We will then catch connecting flight to Suketar from where our trekking begins. The trail proceeds through Jogidanda and pass through villages, river and ridges to Chirwa, Sukathum, Amjilosa, Kyapar, Ghunsa, Kambachen, Lhonak and Pangpema to Kanchanjungha Base Camp. Enjoying the views of several snow-clad peaks from the base, we will make return trip through Kambachen, Lumba Samba, Ramche, Cheram, Tortong, Yamphudin, Anpan and Tembewa Height back to Taplejung from where we will fly back to Kathmandu.
Joining in Kanchanjunga Trek, we will enjoy the unbeatable experience of walking through plain land with lush vegetation, observing alpine vegetation, viewing snow- clad peaks, walking through glaciers and lakes and other diverse activities.

Day 01: Kathmandu Arrival:
Upon arrival, you will be picked up by our representative at the Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu and then taken through the busy streets to hotel. You will receive briefing regarding your Everest Trekking after which you will have welcome dinner and then stay overnight.
Day02: Sightseeing in Kathmandu, Trekking preparation:
After quick breakfast, you will be taken on a guided city tour where you will have an opportunity to visit some spectacular World Heritage sites like Pashupatinath, Bouddhanath, Swayambhunath and Kathmandu Durbar Square.
Day 03: Flight to Suketar (Taplejung), Trek to Jogidanda
We will catch 35minutes flight to Biratnagar from domestic airport at Kathmandu. We will take connecting flight from Biratnagar to Suketar in Taplejung which lies in eastern Nepal. Disembarking at Suketar, we will head to Jogidanda where we will stay overnight.
Day 04: Trek to Chirwa (1800m) 6hrs
Leaving Jogidanda early in the morning, we will take about 6hours of trek to Chirwa. The trail entwines through forest and streams. We will cross few tea shops and dispersed settlement to Chirwa where we will stay overnight.
Day 05: Trek to Sukathum (1660m) 6hrs
Early in the morning, we will begin six hours long trek. We will walk along the bank of river which later continues through forest. If we are lucky, we can have wildlife view. We will cross the suspension bridge and arrive at Sukathum where we will stay overnight.
Day 06: Trek to Amjilosa (2510m) 5hrs
5 hours of trek will take us to Amjilosa. We will begin our trek from the plain land. Leaving meadow, we will take the steep climb to Amjilosa. Few dispersed houses can be found in Amjilosa. We will pass through few local teahouses and stay overnight.
Day 07: Trek to Kyapar (2730m) 6hrs
After hurried meal, we will follow the trail through plain land for the first half of trekking. We will chase the trail to Gyable which is basically the Buddhist village. From Gyable, we will cross woods and arrive at Kyapar where we will stay overnight.
Day 08: Trek to Ghunsa (3695m) 6hrs
About six hours of trek will take us to Ghunsa. The trail passes through woods. The track further proceeds along traditional villages of Mongolian origin. Salt trade with Tibet is the major occupation of natives in Ghunsa. We will stay overnight at Ghunsa.
Day 09: Trek to Kambachen (4099m) 7hrs
Seven hours of trek through the easy trail will take us to Kambachen. Majority of people living in Kambachen follow Buddhism as their chief religion. The designs of houses are heavily influenced by Tibetan cultures. We will lower down to Lakep which further takes us to Kambachen.
Day 10: Rest Day in Kambachen (4099m)
We will take rest from ‘Kanchanjunga Trekking’. Taking rest will help us to acclimatize our body with the rising altitude and thus it prevents us from High Altitude Sickness. If you are interested, side trip can be arranged in the village of Kambachen where we can observe the lifestyle of locals.
Day 11: Trek to Lhonak (4785m) 6hrs
Lhonak (4785m) exists in a place nearby the dry lake. We will follow the rock strewn path all the way to Lhonak which lies in 4785m. We will spend the night at the edge of lake.
Day 12: Trek to Pangpema (5143m) 5hrs
We will choose the trail all the way to Pangpema (5143m). We can enjoy the panoramic views of Kanchenjunga and other several mountains. We will choose the trail close to Gimmigela peak and proceed further to Pangpema.
Day 13: Trek to Kanchanjunga Base Camp, Return to Pangpema:
This is the important day. We will reach our ultimate destination- Kanchanjunga Base Camp from where we will enjoy views of various snow- clad peaks. We will later return back to Pangpema where we will stay overnight.
Day 14: Trek to Kambachen (4099m) 7hrs
We will have hurried meal before continuing our journey through the northern end of Pangpema. We will choose the escalating trail that passes through woods and stream to Kambachen (4099m). We will enjoy the views of Tent Peak and other peaks and stay overnight at Kambachen.
Day 15: Trek to Lumba Samba (4206m) 5hrs
Trekking to Lumba Samba is going to be rather challenging. We will cross the High Passes of Lapsang La (5180m) and Mirgin La (4500m) and arrive at Lumba Samba where we will stay overnight. The strenuous trekking will be compensated by the beautiful views that we can gain from the top of High Passes.
Day 16: Trek to Ramche (4580m) 5hrs
About five hours of trek to Ramche (4580m) begins from Lumba Samba. The trail offers great view of Yalung Glacier. We can even get the chance to view some frozen lakes that are created out of melting snow from glacier. The path unfolds to the plain lands of Ramche.
Day 17: Trek to Cheram (3870m) 6hrs
6hours of trekking will take us to Cheram. The trail progresses through the barren landscape which further rises uphill through the stony path. We will cross Mirgin La and make our way towards Cheram. Enroute, we will enjoy the spectacular sights of glaciers and mountains.
Day 18: Trek to Tortong (2995m) 7hrs
Early in the morning, we will have hurried breakfast and then continue our journey to Tortong. The first half of trek traverses the forest afterwards which we will arrive at the path that is obstructed at several points by landslide. Passing through the hurdles, we will reach Tortong.
Day 19: Trek to Yamphudin (2080m) 8hrs
The trail for Yamphudin progresses through culturally rich village of mixed communities. Limbu, Sherpas, Gurung and Rai ethnics are the native tribals of Yamphudin. We will make our way through the crop fields and arrive at the plain land where we will stay overnight.
Day 20: Trek to Anpan (2040m) 6hrs
It is the easy trek. All we have to do is to chase the downward trail. The gentle walk will take us to Omje Khola. From Omje Khola, we will advance through jungle and alpine flowers to the small settlement. We will later chase Kabeli River which will take us to Anpan.
Day 21: Trek to Tembewa Height (2000m) 6hrs
Trekking on 21st day begins early in the morning. We will walk past woods and stream to the foothill of Tembewa. After brief rest, we will climb to the top of Tembewa Height and indulge in scenic mountain views. We will stay overnight at Tembewa Height.
Day 22: Trek to Taplejung 6hrs
From Tembewa Height, we will follow the steep trail all the way down to Taplejung. The trekking normally extends for about six hours. Since we will return back to Kathmandu only in the next day, we will stay overnight at hotel.
Day 23: Fly to Kathmandu
After an early meal, we will catch flight from Taplejung to land at Biratnagar. From Biratnagar, we will take another flight back to Kathmandu. We will drive to hotel and stay overnight.
Day 24: Departure:
This day marks the end of ‘Kanchanjunga Trekking’. You will be assisted in the last moment preparation and then you will be dropped at Tribhuvan International Airport from where you will catch flight to your next destination. We are happy to serve you and we will be expecting your visit soon.
