Being easily accessible and pursuing the easy trekking trail makes Langtang Region the third most popular trekking destination in Nepal.

Enrolling in Langtang Valley Trekking will be a mixed experience of cultural trekking and natural sightseeing as the trail stretches through remote lands of pretty Tamang and Sherpa hamlets retaining their time worn culture, traditions and ways of life undeviated from the originality traversing through tree line of pine and oaks with rhododendron and other alpine flowers apt for bird watching. The friendly gesture of ever smiling natives is simply overwhelming which will make you wish the trekking never ends. Langtang Valley offers the finest views of Majestic Langtang Himal.     

Our experts from ‘Nexus Travel Tours’ have formulated 10-days surreal trekking package into the very core of Langtang Valley that initiates with 8-hour long scenic drive to Syabrubesi that advances forth the surreal landscapes of Langtang National Park into the ancient shrine of Kyanjin Gompa and ends with finest views of Langtang Lirung, Langshisha Ri, Kimshung and Langtang mountains.

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu

Day01: Kathmandu Arrival:

Representatives from ‘Nexus Travel Tours’ will be ready to pick you up as soon as you land at the Tribhuvan International Airport of Kathmandu afterwards which you will be conveyed into the homely bounds of the hotel premises where your comfort is paid every attention to. Enjoying the welcome dinner amid Nepalese Cultural Show, you will soon be in the comforting bed of our hotel.

Day02: Drive to Dhunche:

The scenic adventure follows through the serpentine road persistently for about 6 hours with scenic views of mountains, paddy fields, deep forest and passes through Trishuli Bazaar prior to eventually arriving at Dhunche that is crowded with hotels and lodges.

Day03: Trek to Syabru Gaon:

Following the gravel road, we will pass through the ridges along the pretty small settlement with miraculous views of Ganesh and Langtang Mountains. An hour long trek from the point through forest and terraced slopes will take us to a ridgeline separating Langtang Khola form Trishuli River that marks the gateway to enter Syabru Gaon.

Day 04: Trek to Lama Hotel:

Descending further through the moraines, the trekking trail jumps off to Ghopche Khola which leads through Landslide prior to ascending towards Rimche at 2400 m altitude. Making our way through the dark lands of Bamboo, we will ultimately be at Lama Hotel, our destination for the day.

Day 05: Trek to Langtang Village via Ghora Tabela:

Leaving Lama Hotel behind, the path ascends uphill through lively woods of maples and oak, fit for bird watching and advances forth the deep forest of rhododendron and pine with white monkeys and local birds to Gumanchok (2800 m) before making it to Ghora Tabela (2970 m). Lowering further more to Thangshyap (3140 m), the trail ascends all the way to Langtang Village, the headquarters of Langtang National Park that offers 180 degree view of Lirung Mountain.

Day06: Trek to Kyanjin Gompa:

Chasing the inclined path uphill, the track advances forth small settlements of Sindum and Yamphu (3640 m) and crosses Laja Khola to arrive at a viewpoint with excellent views of Kyanjin Gompa and icefall from Lirung and Kinshung. Descending through the point will in the end bring us down to Kyanjin Gompa (3870 m).

Day07: Rest Day in Kyanjin Gompa:

Much needed rest is taken this day. We can go for a short trek to the government operated cheese factory in the afternoon or ascend Kyanjin Ri to enjoy the views of Langtang Ri, Dorje Lakpa, Langtang Lirung and other majestic mountains from Kyanjin Gompa.

Day 08: Trek back to Lama Hotel:

8th day marks the initiation of return trip as we will retrace trekking trail back to Lama Hotel from Kyanjin Gompa. The trail prolongs through Langtang Khola and the exquisite landmass of Langtang Village to Lama Hotel where we will be staying overnight.

Day 09: Trek to Syabru Besi via Sherpa Gaon:

Traversing the different Sherpa and Tamang villages and green hills, we will make our way to Syabru Besi located at 1600 m altitude where we will spend our night at a hotel.

Day 10: Back to Kathmandu:

About 8 to 9 hours of scenic drive with pleasant views of river, mountains and paddy fields will be able to take us back to Kathmandu after covering 117 km twisting roads.
