Cleaved into two halves, Lobuche Peak located at 6119 m altitude height in Khumbu Region separates itself into Lobuche East and Lobuche West, both of which are linked together by the continuing ridge. 
Considered one of the best trekking peaks in Nepal, its southern edge becomes the most tried route for peak climbing.

Trekking Experts from ‘Nexus Travel Tours’ have formulated 16 days fascinating Lobuche Peak Climbing package which gets triggered with 35minute spectacular flight across mountains to Tenzing- Hillary Airport at Lukla whence the enthralling trekking initiates. Moving forth Phakding to Namche Bazaar clustered with lodges and hotels, we will advance through exotic dispersed settlements of Tengboche and Pheriche to make it to Lobuche. Fluttering the flags at the Lobuche summit, we will be back to Lukla whence a memorial flight back to Kathmandu concludes the hypnotic voyage.

Entering the serene premises of Sagarmatha National Park, crossing the Dudhkoshi River, passing through cedar, oak and pine woods supporting wildlives and apt for bird watching, walking past highland villages and enjoying the scenic views of Nuptse, Pumori, Khumbutse, Annapurna, Ama Dablam, Mount Everest and Lobuche Peaks are the major attractions of Lobuche Peak Climbing.

Day01: Fly to Lukla Trek to Phakding:

It takes 35 minutes scenic flight through mountains to arrive at the Tenzing-Hillary Airport located at 2804m altitude in Lukla known to be the most dangerous airport in the world. Disembarking at Lukla, the thrilling trekking sensation kick starts as we pursue the trekking trail via Dudh Koshi River to head towards Namche Bazaar. About 4hours of casual walking will take us through the enchanting hamlet at Ghat to reach Phakding village.

Day02: Trek to Namche Bazaar:

Plodding along Dudh Koshi River, we will cross the bridge and enter the serene belt of Sagarmatha National Park. Escalating through Himalayan Pine and Deodar Cedar forests, we will arrive at Namche Bazaar which falls under one of the biggest villages on Everest Trail. Namche Bazaar is historically prominent for being the ancient trade center for Nepalese and Tibetan traders who exchange salt, dried meat and other consumable and textile items.  

Day03: Rest day at Namche Bazaar:

There is going to be a remarkable increase in altitude after Namche Bazaar. Thus acclimatization is a must whereby we will try synchronizing our odily functions in accordance to the given surrounding. It is better to visit the local Bazaar of Namche and the nearby Sherpa villages rather than lying idle. Or you can proceed to the nearby Museum that depicts the culture of indigenous Sherpa people. We will stay in hotel at Namche Bazaar for the night.

Day04: Trek to Tengboche:

Chasing the path that overlooks mountains, we will pass through grooves with chance of wildlife views and descend to Kayangjuma that extends further through Sansa and cross the bridge at Dudhkoshi River to arrive at Phuki Thena bit far whence is located Tengboche which holds the largest Monastery in entire Khumbu Region.  

Day05: Trek to Pheriche:

Confronting the scenic views of Tobuche peak, Ama Dablam, Nuptse and other peaks, we will move forth several scattered villages lined with chortens and Mani Walls to Pangboche Village. Pheriche locates itself to the north of Pangboche that is a pretty tiny Sherpa village rich in cultural heritages adjoining to Khumbu Glacier.

Day06: Trek to Lobuche:

Joining in the Imja Valley, we will have a gentle descent to Lobuche River whence we will climb up to Dingboche. Chasing through the Khumbu Khola Valley, we will cross the bridge over the stream to Dugla with views of Thamserku, Nuptse and other mountains. We will cross the boulders from Khumbu Glacier and move forth Chupki Lhara whence the trail descends through the glacier to Lobuche that allows the exquisite views of Nuptse, Pumori, Khumbutse and several other mountains.

Day07: Trek to Everest Base Camp via Gorakshep Back to Gorakshep:

Moving along the rocky path with mesmerizing views of the pool of Khumbu glacier and icebergs, we will cross Thangma Riju and advance through Changri Glacier to Gorak Shep Lake that eventually lead us to Everest Base Camp. Later we will hunt down the trail back to Gorakshep where we will be staying in a camp.

Day08: Trek to Kala Patthar and to Lobuche:

This day of trekking will lead us to Kala Patthar that is known better for its sunset view than the sunrise view. Indulging in the serene beauty of Everest and several other Mountains, we will make a return trip back to Gorak Shep afterwards which the trail lowers down all the way to Lobuche where we will be staying overnight.
 
Day09: Trek to Lobuche Base Camp:

Walking past the inclined rocky track, we will make it to Lobuche Glacier that offers the kaleidoscopic views of Amadblam Thamserku and other mountains. Bit further is located Lobuche Base Camp where we will be staying in a tented camp overnight.

Day10: Trek to High Camp:

A trek on the 10th day leads to Lobuche Peak High Camp located at 5600m altitude.  Detailed observation of the route towards Lobuche Peak must be taken before engaging in the peak climbing towards Lobuche Peak High Camp as it can be slippery at number of occasions due to melting snow. 

Day11: Trek to Summit and Back to Base Camp:

11th day will be able to take us atop the Lobuche Peak but with much toil. So you need to concentrate all your efforts to overcome the most challenging part of Lobuche Peak Climb. We will advance through the snow covered path fixing the cables and cutting our way through pike axe and escalate to the summit. Indulging in the close up views of Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse, Ama Dablam, Pumori and other mountains, we will lower down to Base Camp.

Day12: Trek to Pangboche:

Leaving Lobuche Base Camp behind, we will proceed through the route to Everest Base Camp which continues through Lobuche and Pheriche to Pangboche. We will stop by the well known Pangboche Monastery prior to staying overnight in a camp at Pangboche.

Day13: Trek to Tengboche:

Traversing the Dudhkoshi River, we will saunter along Dudh Koshi Gorge and advance forth the deep forest with wildlife to Tengboche which is an exotic village in the Khumbhu region where the Sherpas inhabit.

Day14: Trek to Namche Bazaar:

Lowering down the hill, we will pass through Kyangjuma from where the trail stretches through verdant forest to Army Camp before our arrival at Namche Bazaar. Upon your interest, we can organize a brief visit to villages of Khumjung before hitting Namche Bazaar.

Day15: Trek to Lukla:

7hours of downhill trek will be enough to take us to Lukla where we will be staying overnight in a hotel as we prepare ourselves to board a flight back to Kathmandu the next day.

Day16: Fly to Kathmandu:

 35-minutes of pleasant mountain flight will take us to Domestic Airport of Kathmandu whence we will drive back to our hotel from where it all started. In the evening, you can take a stroll in the freaking streets of Thamel to buy souvenirs to your loved ones before enjoying the dinner hosted to celebrate the successful Lobuche Peak Climbing.
